Season of Change

We recently attended our friend’s son’s wedding in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains and were amazed by the vibrant gold quaking aspens. Even more interesting, each grove is one living organism. All the white trunks grow from a single root system, a hidden network that can last for centuries.
If one trunk falls, the roots grow a new one. Whatever one part of the grove has, it shares with the rest. Their survival is a group project. Like the aspens, we are all connected through the same schools, roads, air, water, and future.
This fall, we get to decide what kind of ground we all grow in. Voting is one of democracy’s greatest privileges. It is the people's voice. the power to shape laws, choose leaders, and influence the direction of our communities and country. Voting is more than a duty. It is an act of hope, a declaration that we believe change is possible and that a better tomorrow is within reach.
Our vote reflects our values, our dreams, and our vision for a more just and compassionate world. When we vote, we do it not just for ourselves, but also for our neighbors, our children, and future generations.
Voting gives us a say in what happens. Like roots underground, it’s how we support each other and build a future that includes and protects everyone.
