"One of the greatest things you could ever do in your life is wholeheartedly and relentlessly believe in you. It takes courage to become someone that you can count on. It takes a lot of strength to become someone who will always believe in you. But when you do, your entire world will shift. Suddenly, many things become possible simply because you truly believe in your own strength. The once impossible becomes possible, and the possible becomes inevitable."~Walk the Earth
As the story goes, my friend JR was walking down the street, and a man asked him for a quarter. JR handed him a $100 bill and said, "You need to think bigger!" With a new year upon us, it is an excellent time to leave behind fears, insecurities, and self-doubts that hold us back and dare to explore, dream and discover bigger things. So what does thinking big look like for you? For me, it's entertaining the impossible, like starting a new career at age 57. It's stepping out of my comfort zone and sharing from a place of vulnerability. It's setting wildly ambitious goals and achieving them. It's being okay with feeling uncomfortable as a way to challenge myself to learn new things. It is being brave and walking away from people who don't support me. It's keeping my heart open, knowing I am taking a risk it might be broken.
Thinking Big is about believing in yourself. It takes courage, but once you do, you are unstoppable! So what holds you back from thinking big? What does thinking big look like for you?
